- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Whisk sugar into chocolate mixture, then whisk in eggs one at a time until glossy.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt over chocolate mixture and fold just until no streaks remain.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Whisk together tahini, powdered sugar, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of tahini mixture over brownie batter, then swirl with a knife.
- Sprinkle crumbled halvah over the top.
- Bake for 28-32 minutes until edges are set but center is still slightly underdone.
- Cool completely in pan before cutting into squares.
